News, Blog, and Stories

I’ve been getting asked and I haven’t had an answer. Too many things were up in the air. I’ve been writing the story posting at Austen Variations, I hadn’t finished Particular Attachments, and I wasn’t sure if I was going to have to search out an editor! I finished and I was still superstitious about saying a release date out loud, but after a few things going my way, I decided to bite the bullet.

My editor is plugging steadily away despite the rigours of having a new baby, and I am starting the formatting as I get chapters back from her. I also have a pretty substantial blog tour (for me anyway) getting lined up around that release date. So when is this release date you ask? Mark your calendars because September 14th is the date!

I am super-duper excited and I hope you are too!

Thanks for reading!

A copy isn’t yet available as a pre-order on Amazon for Kindle. If you’re confident of your release date why not post it on Amazon as I’d be sorry to miss it.

    1. No, it’s not up for pre-order on Amazon. You have to have a formatted book file to upload to put it on pre-order, which I’m working on at the moment. If I decide to put it up for pre-order, I’ll make an announcement. I’d be sorry for you to miss it as well 🙂 Thanks, Jerry!

  7. Congratulations, Leslie!! Yay!!!! It’s difficult when so many projects are going at once, and you feel as if you are trying to keep too many plates spinning at once!! Kudos to your editor for working with a new baby–that’s how I edited my first major book project, too … sometimes while nursing our eldest!!

Take care!! And thank you for sharing your writings so generously with us at Austen Variations!

    Susanne 🙂

    1. I do feel like I’m spinning a bunch of plates at once and I keep waiting for them all to fall on my head. LOL! I”m lucky Brynn was excited to get going again. I love sharing with everyone at Austen Variations. I’m just glad y’all are enjoying that story too 🙂 Thanks, Susanne!

Congratulations on your progress and good luck with your release. I will be looking forward to learning more about this release. I am laughing to myself as it’s not that I don’t have anything else to read but you, as an author are a known factor. Some I go into blind. Best of wishes.

    1. Thanks so much, Sheila!

Just seen my comment never posted. Such exciting news Leslie . I look forward to the tour and reading excerpts. You have such a way with words. (I don’t suppose you have a release date for Ellie and Elizabeth’s story? (Really I am just wondering how many wonderful chapters I have to look forward to. They make Wednesdays so special))
Anyway 14th September is good as it gives me plenty of time to ‘re read Particular Intentions first. Thanks Leslie. 😘
